That day in the planning room, the questions were flying:

"What would be a GOOD t-shirt design for the band's fourth album?" "What can we do that would make people swim a lake of fire to get one?"

Once it became apparent that no sane-minded human would ever swim a lake of fire for any band t-shirt, they started to think about it for real.

After about twenty-five or thirty seconds, someone suggested: "How about the album cover?"

The mood in that planning room quickly turned from quiet and even-keeled to almost-quiet and even-keeled.

And just like that, the planning session slipped into the anals of history, forever to be practically forgotten and never commemorated. The band's fourth album cover - a shot of the boys sitting on the street, leaning against an abandoned building - would, remarkably, be "the one."

And all it took was that person, whoever he or she was, to barely think about it at all.

You can't quantify genius.

If you snag one, it's hard to imagine that this would NOT become one of your favorite t-shirts.... like ever.
