So, in case you're wondering (assuming you didn't already know), the raised guitar logo here comes from the cover of the band's third album "Rhyme and Treason."
They felt they had exhausted the ax-wielding motif on their first two album covers, and never one to beat a dead hatchet, they decided it was time for another delightfully whimsical approach.
They toyed with different ideas.
Unfortunately, cannons, puppies, dental strips, skateboards and nipple rings just weren't hitting the spot for the guitar slinging duo from New York.
Then it hit them. They looked around their studio and saw EXACTLY what they wanted to represent them in graphic form. It was there the whole time - obvious as hell.
Extension cords! They were everywhere! Perfect!
Ultimately, that didn't work out. It was dumb.
So they went with this exponentially cooler design.
This will quickly become your favorite t-shirt. Soft, comfortable and durable. A must own.
